Tributes Flow for the Reiners as Autopsy Reports Remain Under Wraps.

Well beyond 14 days subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of celebrated film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones are still paying respects to the pair.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he finally felt ready to post publicly about his deep grief.

"Enough time has passed that I can finally express my sorrow into words," wrote Elwes, noting that his first meeting with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started passing more hours together I understood this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor uploaded never-before-seen clips from the movie, commenting that he doesn't recollect "one day without laughter".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Values that Rob held dear. Which is among the many reasons he was the perfect person to direct it," Elwes continued.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, noting: "Asserting that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I recall you." He finished with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Fellow Artist

In a different piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was very funny and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked wonderfully with everyone, and he comprehended the human predicament of his character," Scorsese noted.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Sealed

Recently, a Los Angeles judge ruled to block the publication of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, after an appeal from the LAPD.

A court order issued a embargo on the cases to restrict the public release of "any investigative information, notes, reports or photos" associated with the active case.

The coroner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of foul play, with a official listing citing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the deaths, public individuals expressed different comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, making divisive statements that were widely condemned by many commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his voice to the those speaking out last week. Talking on his program, Rogan characterized the comments as "disturbing" and remarked they revealed a concerning lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by suggesting that an associate should have intervened when the decision to comment on the tragedy was made.
