Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Car Crash
The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The celebrated industry figure died after his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with his family and friends, his loved ones, and all those touched by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
